Extrajudicial Dispute Resolution

Information Pursuant to § 14 of the Consumer Protection Act

In accordance with § 14(1) of Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended, we inform consumers of the possibility of extrajudicial resolution of consumer disputes.

Consumer's Right to Extrajudicial Dispute Resolution

The consumer has the right to extrajudicial resolution of a consumer dispute arising from a contract for the provision of legal services. The consumer may submit a proposal for extrajudicial dispute resolution to the designated body:

The Czech Bar Association has been entrusted with the extrajudicial resolution of consumer disputes in the area of disputes between lawyers and consumers arising from contracts for the provision of legal services.

The European Commission operates an online dispute resolution platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
